In Jeremiah 1:5, “the word of the Lord” came to the prophet Jeremiah, who was a young man at the time. God said to him: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations” (1:5). God knew us before we were born or formed. We the descendants of Black Slaves have not been paid Slavery Reparations, but our slave owners have been paid since April 16, 1862 because they “lost” their property (US—Black Slaves).
